September 2020
So grateful to create in the spirit of collaboration. Excited to share a new digital work with photographer Sarah Barrington from London. The image features the talented Asch Pintura @asch.pintura DJ/Creator (New York state born, London based. melodic, emotive, deep dance music). Music has provided me with so much space to breathe and to be. To dance to concentrate and to heal, love and grow. I first heard Asch on the @anjunadeep edition 315, and I was hooked! Thank you 🙏

Check out my first Youtube video detailing the process of at home relief printmaking. Featured here is my Laughing Kookaburra print with Hibiscus flowers.

Being Rooted is an exhibition of works on paper that explores the attempt of being “grounded” while navigating through the many nuances of life. Through intuitive approaches to art making, Madhurima and Jennifer both work to investigate memory and identity. Madhu’s work searches to find the beauty in perceived “ugliness.” She is interested in exposing the unrealistic pains of searching for perfection and disturbing the seemingly symmetrical space. Jennifer’s work has a narrative approach through images embedded with personal meaning. She looks to the power of poetry to create visual stories.
